Márcio Pantoja
Hey! I am a Motion Designer majoring in Animation at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, in Florianópolis, Brazil, where I work and live. In my free time, I enjoy playing the saxophone, going to a calm beach, and watching some random videos about math on YouTube.
I work with Cell and Cut-out Animation, and I believe in its importance for learning animation principles. But my focus is motion graphics with After Effects and I love especially when I have to do some coding and rigging. That's what I work with at my current internship at 52 Animation Studio, producing videos for a kid's YouTube channel called Leo & Lully.
My biggest inspiration for choosing the path of Animation was the YouTube channel Kurzgesagt - In a Nutshell. Their care in scripting, designing, and animating videos that simplify all diverse kinds of matters for everyone caught me. I love to get in touch with so many subjects outside my knowledge field and help to translate it visually in a pleasing way.
While I am not a Kurzgesagt or TedEd animator, I'd love to help you develop visually appealing ideas for your project and animate it in a way that contributes to the rhythm of the video.
